EMBRACE LIFE
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM
At Embrace Life, we know you have overcome many obstacles and hurdles as a single mom. We get it! Even though the journey may not be easy, you don’t have to walk it alone. As an unmarried mom, there’s a place for you in an Embrace Life support group. You’ll make new friends in similar situations and have leaders that will guide and empower you. We are in this with you!
CONNECTION GROUPS
In addition to Sunday School every Sunday at 10am, Gospel Light offers a variety of Connection Groups throughout each month. These groups are designed to help you go deeper in God’s Word alongside others through fellowship and study. For more information on when our groups meet, click here.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Gospel Light values the importance of worship, as it prepares us for the preaching of God’s Word. Each week, you will feel encouraged and ready to worship the Lord through old and new songs alike! Consider joining us on Sunday to experience this worship for yourself!
CARE MINISTRY
Our CARE ministry (Christians Actively Reaching Everyone) provides encouragement for our church family and our missionaries by praying for needs and sending cards on a regular basis.
MISSIONS
We currently support 25 mission projects (including missionaries, evangelists and ministries) in the community of Roanoke, in the United States, and around the world. Each year, we participate in Operation Christmas Child by packing shoeboxes to send out! We also participate in the baby bottle campaign that benefits the Blue Ridge Women’s Center in Roanoke.
OUTREACH
In order to reach our community for Christ, we share the Gospel by ministering at community events, serving at local ministries (like Straight Street), and canvassing neighborhoods. We encourage our church family to share the Gospel of Jesus with their friends, relatives, work associates, and neighbors!
PRAYER WARRIORS
Our prayer warriors receive requests through the week and approach God’s throne with these needs. We believe in the power of prayer and realize with Jesus, anything is possible! Want to submit a prayer request? Give us a text or a call at 540-798-0103.
