Pastor Wayne was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He met Tonya in high school and they married in 1989. He loves the people of Gospel Light and enjoys serving the Lord here in Roanoke. Wayne and Tonya have three children: Kaity, Alan and Austin. They are “Poppy and Mimi” to Wyatt and Charley Kate. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness through Pastor Wyatt’s 36 years in the ministry.

Eli Severt is from St. Augustine, FL. His family moved to Knoxville, TN in 2018 and joined Valley View Baptist Church. He met Jenna in college and they were married in December 2025. They are ministering to our teens and young adults. We praise the Lord for His provision by sending Eli & Jenna to us!
